I am Fatima Ali, mother of two amazingly energetic toddlers ( Mohib and Zoyaa) and a foodie. My favorite thing in life is my birthday. Yes, my birthday!!! The countdown begins a month before and even three decades down the lane I cherish it as the most important day for me ❤

I love making flower arrangements – using artificial flowers to create beautiful arrangements. Someday I will show my creations here on IG.

I am also a cleaning and reorganizing freak. In fact, I find it therapeutic therefore every month room setting has to change. All rooms!!! Previously i was working as Student Affairs Officer at NUST SEECS, that place is like a home to me.

I strongly believe that life brings you opportunities at every step and it’s up to you to make a choice. I left my job for my family and I am totally happy with the decision that I made. Also, food blogging has been one of the best decisions I made. As long as I can remember, cooking good food has been my passion and it makes me happy.

I am a visual learner. I learnt cooking from television and standing next to my mother, by just observing her. My mother cooks exceptionally good food and I like to think that I have some of her magic. Blessed!!! I also draw inspiration from many wonderful chefs from televised cooking shows to Pinterest, amazing bloggers on social media i.e., Fb and IG groups.

In June 2014, I started food blogging for #cheflingtales. My experience with Chefling Tales has been nothing short of remarkable. I started as a home-cook who was keen about learning and understanding flavors and techniques involved in making good food. No, great food !

Last year in September, through constant push and encouragement from my husband Ali, I took the next step in my culinary journey by starting my own food blog – Pots ‘n Curries.

With Pots ‘n Curries my aim is to promote our traditional flavors and cooking techniques beyond borders.
My friends and family have always appreciated and loved my food and cooking. I feel blessed that I am able to cook and share my passion for food through my blogs, FB and IG.

I warmly welcome everyone to Pots ‘n Curries and look forward to your love and support 🙂
